Driver Welfare Facility

The plans for our new driver welfare facility at Lockerbie have been finalised with building work starting in June and completion targeted for the end of October.

The building will be positioned next to the workshops at our Lockerbie yard to provide modern facilities for drivers and driver trainers. The facilities will include a kitchen area, an office space, a training room, a shower block and toilets.

Once completed the new building will be the ideal space for drivers and trainee drivers, as we start to offer a training course for Class 2 drivers to work towards their Class 1 licence and earn a full time Class 1 position at John Miller.

We will be sharing developments of the new facility, including training opportunities, while building work progresses.
